2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you purchase or engage REVD Digital for services, additional terms may also be contained in a quotation, proposal, statement of work, invoice, order form or other written agreement.
Where specific terms in an agreed proposal or service agreement conflict with these general Terms & Conditions, the specific terms agreed for that engagement will take precedence to the extent of that conflict.
3. Our services
REVD Digital provides professional digital services. Depending on the engagement, these may include:
- Search engine optimisation (SEO).
- Technical SEO.
- On-page SEO.
- Keyword research and strategy.
- SEO audits.
- Content strategy and optimisation.
- Link building and outreach.
- Guest-post and publisher outreach.
- Ecommerce SEO.
- Local SEO.
- Reputation management.
- Search-result and brand-SERP work.
- WordPress troubleshooting and technical work.
- Related digital marketing, consulting and implementation.
The services listed on our website describe our capabilities and do not mean that every activity is included in every engagement.
4. Quotes, proposals and scope of work
The exact scope of a paid engagement will normally be established through a quotation, proposal, invoice, statement of work, order or other written communication.
The agreed scope may specify deliverables, fees, payment arrangements, estimated timeframes and responsibilities of both parties.
Requests outside the agreed scope may require additional fees, additional time or a revised quotation.
5. Pricing
Our pricing varies according to the nature and scope of the work. Factors may include the target market, country, industry, competition, website condition, number of pages or keywords, technical requirements and campaign complexity.
Any price described as a starting price, estimate or example is not a guaranteed quotation for every project.
The price payable for your engagement is the amount agreed through the applicable quotation, proposal, order, invoice or service agreement.
6. Payment
Payment requirements and billing frequency will be communicated before or during the purchase or engagement process.
Depending on the service, we may require full or partial payment before work begins, recurring payments for ongoing services, or payment according to milestones or an agreed billing schedule.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment processors, banks or financial technology providers. Your use of a particular payment service may also be subject to that provider’s terms and privacy practices.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing and payment information and for paying amounts properly due under an agreed engagement.
7. Digital service delivery
REVD Digital supplies professional and digital services. We do not ordinarily ship physical goods.
Depending on the project, delivery may consist of:
- Work implemented directly on a client’s website or digital systems.
- SEO, technical or content changes.
- Reports, audits or recommendations delivered electronically.
- Campaign management or ongoing optimisation.
- Publisher outreach or placement work.
- Technical troubleshooting or implementation.
- Consulting, strategy or other professional work.
Delivery dates and campaign timeframes are estimates unless we expressly agree in writing that a particular deadline is guaranteed.
8. Client responsibilities
To perform our services effectively, clients may need to provide information, access, feedback or approvals.
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete project information.
- Providing required website, analytics or platform access.
- Providing approvals or feedback within a reasonable period.
- Maintaining appropriate backups unless backup services are expressly included.
- Ensuring that their products, services and business activities comply with applicable law.
- Ensuring that materials supplied to us can lawfully be used for the requested purpose.
A delay in providing necessary information, access or approval may delay the project or affect our ability to perform the agreed work.
9. SEO performance and results
SEO involves many factors that are outside REVD Digital’s direct control. Search engines determine their own rankings, indexing systems, algorithms and policies.
For this reason, REVD Digital does not guarantee:
- A particular search-engine ranking.
- A number-one or page-one position.
- A particular indexing outcome.
- A specific amount of organic traffic.
- A specific number of leads or sales.
- A particular revenue increase.
- Achievement of a result by a guaranteed date.
Any projections, opportunities, forecasts or expected timeframes we discuss are professional assessments based on the information available at the time, not guarantees of future performance.
10. Search engines and algorithm changes
Search engines may change their algorithms, policies, ranking systems, interfaces and technical requirements at any time.
Performance may also be affected by competitor activity, market changes, website changes, technical issues, third-party actions and decisions made by the client.
REVD Digital is not responsible for a loss caused solely by a search-engine or third-party change outside our reasonable control.
11. Link building, outreach and publisher placements
Some REVD Digital services may involve outreach to independent websites, publishers or other third parties.
Where third-party publishers are involved, publication acceptance, availability, timing, editorial decisions, link placement, link attributes and continued publication may ultimately be controlled by that third party.
Unless specifically agreed otherwise, we cannot guarantee that an independent publisher will maintain a page, article or link indefinitely.
Where sponsorship disclosures, advertising disclosures or particular link attributes are required by applicable law, publisher rules or search-engine policies, those requirements should be respected.
12. Reputation-management services
Reputation-management work may involve legitimate content development, search optimisation, monitoring, response strategy and efforts to improve the visibility of accurate or useful information.
We do not guarantee the removal of lawful third-party content or guarantee that a particular search result will disappear or move to a particular position.
We may refuse requests involving impersonation, fabricated evidence, fraudulent reviews or other unlawful or deceptive activity.
13. Third-party platforms and services
Our work may rely on third-party products and services including search engines, content-management systems, hosting providers, ecommerce platforms, analytics systems, publishers and other technology providers.
Those third parties operate independently and may change, restrict, suspend or discontinue their services without our control.
REVD Digital is not responsible for outages, account suspensions, policy changes or failures caused solely by an independent third party.
14. Changes requested by the client
Where a client requests changes after work has begun, we will try to accommodate reasonable requests.
Material changes to the agreed scope may affect price, delivery time or other project requirements and may require additional approval or payment.
15. Cancellations
Unless your specific proposal or service agreement provides otherwise, you may request cancellation of future services by contacting us at hello@revddigital.com.
Cancellation does not automatically reverse fees for work already completed, services already delivered, resources already committed or approved third-party costs already incurred.
If an engagement contains a specific cancellation or notice period, that agreed provision will apply.
Please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for more information.
16. Refunds
Because our work consists primarily of professional services and digital deliverables, refund eligibility depends on the circumstances and the stage of the engagement.
A failure to achieve a desired ranking, traffic level, lead volume, revenue target or other result that was not expressly guaranteed does not by itself create an entitlement to a refund.
Nothing in these Terms affects rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Intellectual property
REVD Digital retains ownership of its pre-existing methodologies, systems, processes, templates, tools, know-how and other intellectual property.
Rights in client-specific deliverables may be defined in the applicable proposal or agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed, where ownership of a client-specific deliverable is intended to transfer to the client, that transfer may be conditional upon payment in full for the relevant work.
Third-party software, images, fonts, plugins, platforms and other materials remain subject to their respective licences and ownership rights.
18. Client materials
Clients retain their rights in materials they provide to REVD Digital.
By supplying materials to us, the client authorises us to use those materials as reasonably necessary to perform the agreed services.
The client is responsible for ensuring that it has the necessary rights or permissions to provide those materials to us.
19. Confidentiality
We take reasonable steps to protect confidential information provided in connection with client work.
Confidential information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to authorised team members or service providers involved in delivering the work, or where disclosure is required by law.
20. Client names, logos and case studies
We will not present a client’s name or logo as an endorsement or publish an identifiable client case study without appropriate permission.
Where we publish an anonymised case study, we will take reasonable steps to avoid intentionally revealing confidential client information.
21. Acceptable use and unlawful activity
You must not use REVD Digital’s website or services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or deceptive purposes.
We may refuse, suspend or terminate work where we reasonably believe a request would involve illegal activity, fraud, material deception, abuse, security threats or a serious breach of these Terms.
22. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate services where reasonably necessary, including where:
- Payment that is properly due remains unpaid.
- The client materially breaches an agreed engagement.
- The client uses our services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
- The client or its representatives seriously abuse or threaten our team.
- Continuing the work would create a material legal or security risk.
Where practical, we will try to communicate the issue before terminating an engagement.
23. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
To the extent permitted by law, REVD Digital will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We are also not responsible for losses resulting from inaccurate information provided by a client, unauthorised client or third-party changes, or failure by the client to follow material recommendations or maintain appropriate systems and backups.
Any additional or project-specific allocation or limitation of liability may be set out in the applicable service agreement.
24. No professional legal or financial advice
Our SEO, digital marketing and technical services do not constitute legal, tax, accounting or financial advice.
Where a project involves legal, regulatory or financial questions, you should obtain advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
25. Website information
We try to keep information on our website accurate and current. However, general website content is provided for informational purposes and may not reflect every circumstance or project.
Nothing on the website constitutes a guaranteed SEO result or automatically creates a client relationship.
26. Privacy and cookies
Our handling of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Information about cookies and similar technologies is available in our Cookie Policy.
27. Changes to these Terms
We may update these website Terms & Conditions when our services, business practices or legal requirements change.
The latest version will be published on this page with the date it was last updated.
A website update will not retrospectively replace specific contractual terms already agreed for an existing paid engagement unless the parties agree to the change or applicable law provides otherwise.
28. Governing law
Where the contracting party is REVD Digital Limited, these Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply under applicable law.
