This policy explains when REVD Digital services may be cancelled, when payments are refundable and how prepaid, recurring and third-party costs are handled.
Last updated: 8 September 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to services purchased from REVD Digital Limited unless a quotation, proposal, order, invoice or other written agreement contains different terms for a particular engagement.

REVD Digital supplies professional and digital services rather than physical goods.
Our work may include SEO, technical SEO, content work, ecommerce SEO, link-building and outreach services, publisher placements, reputation management, WordPress work, audits, consulting and related digital services.
Because much of this work involves professional time, research, implementation and costs committed specifically for an individual client, refund eligibility depends heavily on whether work has begun.
If you cancel an engagement before REVD Digital has started work and before we have committed any non-refundable third-party costs on your behalf, you may request cancellation and a refund of amounts paid for that unstarted work.
A request should be sent as soon as possible to hello@revddigital.com.
Where work has already started or costs have already been committed, the provisions below apply.
Except where applicable law gives you a mandatory right to a refund or cancellation, payments for a service are non-refundable once REVD Digital has started performing that service.
Work may be considered started when we have begun any material activity required for the engagement, including:
This is because our services require time and resources that are allocated specifically to each client and cannot necessarily be resold or recovered after the work has begun.
Recurring or monthly services may be cancelled at any time before the next billing date unless a specific agreement states otherwise.
Cancellation prevents future billing but does not normally create a refund for the current paid billing period.
Where a client cancels during an already-paid month, REVD Digital will normally continue providing the agreed service until the end of that paid billing period.
The engagement will then end before the next recurring charge becomes due.
Once work for a paid billing period has begun, the fee for that period is non-refundable except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We do not normally calculate a daily or weekly refund for the unused portion of an active month.
Instead, the client remains entitled to receive the agreed service until the end of the period that has already been paid for.
For one-off projects, including SEO audits, technical SEO work, website fixes, content projects, research, consulting or similar services, payment is non-refundable once work has begun, except where applicable law provides a mandatory right to a refund.
Cancelling a project after work has started does not create an entitlement to a refund for the remaining portion of the project simply because the client decides not to continue.
Some engagements require REVD Digital to commit or pay costs to independent third parties on the client’s behalf.
Examples may include:
Once a third-party cost has been authorised, committed or paid, that amount is non-refundable to the extent that REVD Digital cannot recover it from the third party, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Ending or disputing the wider REVD Digital engagement does not automatically make amounts already committed to independent third parties refundable.
Where an engagement includes independent publisher outreach or placements, the publisher may require payment or incur costs before publication.
Once REVD Digital has committed to or paid an approved publisher cost, that amount is treated as a committed third-party cost and will not normally be refundable if the client later cancels the engagement.
Publisher availability, editorial decisions, publication timing, link attributes and continued publication may remain subject to the independent publisher’s own policies and decisions.
Where writers, editors or other content providers have already started or completed work for a client’s project, the amount attributable to that work is non-refundable except where required by law.
The applicable cost will normally be the amount shown or agreed in the quotation, proposal, invoice, project scope or other written communication.
For transparency, project-specific third-party charges may be shown separately in a quotation, invoice, proposal or other project documentation where appropriate.
In the event of a cancellation or payment dispute, amounts already committed to writers, publishers, contractors or other third parties may be supported by relevant project records, invoices, payment records, correspondence or other reasonable evidence.
SEO, reputation management and digital marketing involve factors that REVD Digital cannot fully control.
A refund will not be due solely because a client did not achieve a desired:
REVD Digital does not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, leads, sales, revenue or search-engine outcomes.
This provision does not affect remedies that may apply where REVD Digital has failed to supply an agreed service with the level of care required by applicable law.
For business customers, a change of mind after work has begun does not normally entitle the customer to a refund.
For individual consumers, statutory cancellation or refund rights may apply depending on the customer’s location, the type of service and when performance of the service began.
If you are acting as an individual consumer rather than for business purposes, you may have statutory rights that cannot be excluded by this policy.
For certain contracts entered into remotely, UK consumers may have a legal cancellation period.
If you expressly ask REVD Digital to begin providing services during an applicable statutory cancellation period, you may be required to pay for services properly supplied up to the point at which you cancel.
Where a service has been fully performed after the consumer expressly requested early performance and acknowledged the applicable consequences, the statutory right to cancel may end where permitted by law.
Nothing in this policy is intended to remove or restrict mandatory consumer rights.
If you believe REVD Digital has not supplied an agreed service correctly, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
We will review genuine service concerns and, where appropriate, may correct, repeat or otherwise remedy the affected work.
Where applicable law requires a refund or other remedy, we will comply with those obligations.
If you believe you have been charged twice for the same payment or that an incorrect amount has been processed, contact us promptly.
Verified duplicate or erroneous charges will be corrected or refunded where appropriate.
If you have a concern about a payment or service, we encourage you to contact REVD Digital before initiating a payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.
When responding to a payment dispute, we may provide the payment provider or financial institution with relevant records relating to the transaction.
These may include:
This information may be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Where REVD Digital approves a refund, we will normally return the payment using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Processing times may vary depending on the payment processor, bank, payment method and country involved.
REVD Digital cannot control the amount of time taken by an independent bank or payment provider to make an approved refund visible in the recipient’s account.
Where a payment involves currency conversion, international transfers or independent payment-provider charges, exchange-rate differences and fees charged by third parties may not be recoverable by REVD Digital.
Any refund we are required or agree to make will be handled in accordance with the original transaction, applicable law and the capabilities of the payment method used.
To cancel a service, email:
Please include sufficient information for us to identify the engagement.
This may include:
For recurring services, the cancellation request must be received before the next billing date if you want to prevent the next scheduled payment.
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy to reflect changes in our services, payment arrangements or legal requirements.
The current version will be published on this page with its latest update date.
A later website update will not retrospectively replace specific refund or cancellation terms already agreed for an existing engagement unless the parties agree otherwise or applicable law requires it.
